'RESTRICTED AREA' - Installation for the water park

"Restricted area" is a human-made island in the middle of the stormwater pond system that has been expressly non-treated and physically and visually limited to avoid any human intervention in the future. It is a permanent installation that aims to let the natural processes transform this little piece of earth. The water stream will bring new sediments and birds, and wind may bring seeds that could germinate and grow a particular ecosystem.

The proposal aims to redraw the “limit” of the new island after five years of its installation to repicture what has happened in this time.
